1958 classic that still sparkles. There isn't a cat in this
Tennessee Williams play but all the heat is to be found in the
tension between the characters. Paul Newman is Brick, married
to the spiteful Maggie (Liz Taylor) and all are under the influence
of Big Daddy (Burl Ives - not the wrestler). Lots of family
bickering and deep south drawls. Long on words and short on
action, this is nevertheless a masterclass of tightly knit composition.}
